Music Essences, A Transformational Journey of Conciousness, CD1-3

Katalin Kertész (solo violin) presents here the first 16 essences in the form of musical meditations, that offer a point of access to the vast potential that Bach’s music holds for awakening.

These CDs contain meditations corresponding to the first 16 Music EsencesTM. There is no right or wrong way to listen, but we recommend using the music as a meditation focus, directing attention to the whole body along with any thoughts, visions or emotions that may surface. The tracks with flowing water alone may help deepen the experience.

The first CD - the first four essences - resonates in particular with the throat chakra. The first track Individuality sets the stage for the entire series of 32 essences. It represents the birth of the Soul, and as such may shine a light on deep-seated fears that may have arisen from that moment of perceived separation. The resolution of this set is Karma Release, an invigorating and cleansing musical shower.

The 2nd CD - essences 5 to 12 - is very much connected to the crown chakra, and the opening up to new potential. The first of these, Portal of Heavens, acts as the gateway to higher realms; the subsequent seven musical movements climb what could be described as a higher-dimensional chakra set within the crown, finishing with Unicorn, which represents a beam of pure, white light.

Finally the 3rd CD - essences 13 to 16 - is centered around the third-eye or brow chakra, and the focus here is gaining a higher perspective. The set concludes with Perfection, useful for those who always strive to make things “better” without acknowledging the perfection of all that is.

As these first three parts focus on the upper chakras, we suggest a few moments’ grounding after listening. The 2nd volume, CDs 4-6 (essences 17-32), will delve into the material world - physicality and the emotions, accepting the reality of death, and surrendering to the simple experience of contentment.
